Chris Paul spotted drinking ‘Secret Stuff’ again during Suns’ win over Jazz
Chris Paul once again was spotted drinking out of a bottle filled with a mysterious “Secret Stuff” elixir during the Phoenix Suns’ thrilling 117-113 overtime victory over the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night.
CP3 played outstanding in the big win, scoring 29 points, including 14 in the fourth quarter, while also chipping in nine assists and four rebounds.
It’s the entire “Chris’ Secret Stuff” bottle, though, that had the NBA world talking, including the league’s official Twitter account.
“Secret Stuff” of course is a nod to the iconic “Space Jam,” as Michael Jordan and the Tune Squad believe a placebo — actually water — in a bottle labeled “Michael’s Secret Stuff” was the key to securing victory over the formidable Monstars squad.
Interestingly enough, this isn’t the first time this season that Paul has been seen drinking out of a bottle labeled “Chris’ Secret Stuff,” as alluded to in the above tweet.
Making the entire “Chris’ Secret Stuff” angle even more compelling is how the “Point God” makes an appearance in the LeBron James-starring “Space Jam: A New Legacy” that hits theaters and HBO Max this summer. Whether “Secret Stuff” does indeed show up in the “Space Jam” reboot is unknown, but odds are CP3’s conspicuous “product placement” is related to some kind of subtle guerrilla marketing for the film.
