Actor Michael B. Jordan has great comeback to LeBron’s jab on ‘Space Jam’ set

Reshoots are underway for “Space Jam: A New Legacy” ahead of its July premiere, and it led to a fantastic back and forth on social media between star LeBron James and Hollywood A-lister Michael B. Jordan.
The Los Angeles Lakers superstar — who teased some major plot details of the film earlier in the week — shared in an Instagram story how Jordan recently paid a visit to the “Space Jam” set, and jokingly made note of how the actor is not the most famous Michael Jordan on the planet.

Jordan -- the actor -- obviously is not quite the pop culture icon and global phenomenon that the Chicago Bulls legend remains even to this day, but who is? However, Jordan is one of the more successful and talented actors of his generation thanks to roles in "Black Panther," "Fruitvale Station" and of course his star turn as the titular character in the "Creed" franchise.
That makes his subsequent witty retort to James' trolling slight that much more brilliant. Replying on Twitter, Jordan joked about how he visited the "Space Jam" set to meet another of the film's stars, not this LeBron guy.
I pulled up to meet Bugs but ran into this guy instead @KingJames https://t.co/k9MiEKZ74j

Well played, Mr. Jordan. Being able to deliver such a vicious counter-punch is a fitting way for the actor to honor his Adonis Johnson character in "Creed."
