Cam Newton loves tweet comparing his dance moves to Tom Brady’s

Cam Newton is presented with unenviable task of potentially replacing the legendary Tom Brady, and the current New England Patriots quarterback was left amused by how an unconventional comparison to his predecessor was inspired by a recent video of him dancing at practice.

Footage surfaced on social media this week of Newton breaking out some moves during Monday’s training camp session. It demonstrated how the former MVP likes to keep things loose on the practice field, which stands in stark contrast to how Brady usually likes to conduct himself in such situations.

That being said, Brady has been known to let his hair down every once in a while. That was the case last season when footage surfaced of Brady busting out some dad dance moves on the practice field. This was not the only occasion where Brady cut loose a bit in such a manner, either.

In a tweet shared this week, another instance when Brady busted a move was compared to the footage of Newton getting down on Monday. The “Who Did It Better?” question was posed. To say Newton was amused by the breakdown would be an understatement.

Indeed.

Newton admitted shortly after signing with the Patriots that replacing Brady was the “elephant in the room” when it comes to the second chapter of his career. It remains to been whether his play on the field as well as his leadership in the locker room can measure up to what Brady accomplished in New England, a tall order, to be sure. It’s safe to say, though, that when it comes to dancing, Newton has the distinct advantage.
