LeBron James enjoys Taco Tuesday as players pan food options in bubble

Taco Tuesday is a time-honored tradition in the LeBron James household, and the weekly feast looks that much more sumptuous when juxtaposed with the paltry food options NBA players are currently getting in the Orlando bubble.

Images emerged Tuesday that have begun to depict the accommodations NBA players are currently being afforded at the Walt Disney World Resort ahead of the league restart tentatively scheduled for July 30 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. These photographs specifically documented the substandard meals presently being provided to players.

In a tweet that contrasts the meals enjoyed by James and Los Angeles Lakers teammate Kyle Kuzma on Tuesday, it becomes abundantly clear why NBA players are left stunned by the food offerings thus far in Orlando.

It appears James enjoyed a traditional taco feast while Kuzma enjoyed sushi. Meanwhile, the above tweet also showcases the chicken dinner that was provided to Brooklyn Nets guard Chris Chiozza, much to his obvious chagrin.

Denver Nuggets guard Troy Daniels posted images of a recent meal on social media as well.

It goes without saying each and every NBA player presently in Orlando would have gladly taken either option at James’ home over their questionable meals.

Odds are the NBA will figure out the subpar food situation quickly enough, and some bumps in the road are to be expected given the massive undertaking required to restart the season at a centralized location.

With NBA teams preparing to descend upon Orlando en masse in the coming days, free-agent Isaiah Thomas made a noteworthy observation about how there’s no way the current meal options in Orlando will stand for much longer.

It’s impossible to argue with Thomas’ sentiment, as there is indeed no way whatsoever that James will resign himself to dining on these kind of meals for the next few months.
