Damian Lillard revealed as one of three ‘NBA 2K21’ cover athletes
Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard will grace the cover of current-generation versions of “NBA 2K21,” it was announced Tuesday morning.

The iconic video game series will feature three cover athletes for its upcoming edition, and the remaining two stars will be announced later this week.
Lillard is featured on the cover of the versions of the game for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Windows PC and Google Stadia systems, and the cover athlete for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions will be announced on Wednesday.

“This is a special moment for me in my NBA career,” Lillard said in a press release. “I’ve been a fan of NBA 2K for years and love how they represent all aspects of basketball culture. I’m an avid 2K player so I’m honored to join the other NBA greats who have been on the cover. I’m grateful to all my fans and can’t wait for everyone to experience the game later this year.”

Lillard is the first member of the Trail Blazers to be featured on an “NBA 2K” cover. Along with the honor, Lillard will team with 2K Foundations to renovate a community center and basketball court in his native Oakland, per Bleacher Report.
