Buccaneers unveil first look at Tom Brady in team’s uniform

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tom Brady teased as much on Monday, but Tuesday brought the first official look at the legendary quarterback sporting the team’s uniform.

Jokingly captioning the social media dispatch as “*Not* a jersey swap,” the tweet features Brady in the new uniform the Buccaneers will begin wearing during the 2020 season.

The tweet links to a 41-photo slideshow of Brady in various poses while wearing a jersey for a team other than the New England Patriots for the first time in his two-decade NFL career.

The Bucs have unsurprisingly been hyping Brady’s arrival ever since he stunningly signed with the team back in March. Brady has been making waves as well — and not necessarily in the best of ways, either — since moving to Tampa Bay, a change that included taking up residence in a fellow sports icon’s home.

The Buccaneers of course have seen a surge in interest since Brady’s signing, and it’s hardly a stunner that his new jersey has quickly become a bestseller over the past few months. With Tuesday’s unveiling, odds are even more Brady jerseys will start flying off the shelves.
