Bruce Arians jokes about taking Gronk’s WWE 24/7 belt
Rob Gronkowski secured the WWE’s 24/7 belt before coming out of retirement to play with former teammate Tom Brady on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The terms of holding the title belt dictates that anybody can steal it away at any time, and it sounds like Bruce Arians heard about Gronk recently joking that the Bucs head coach is someone to be feared in that regard.
“[Gronk] better keep his head on a swivel … I may take it from him,” Arians said during an appearance Thursday on ESPN’s NFL Live, per TMZ Sports.
Gronkowski got the ball rolling on Arians potentially being someone who would usurp him as 24/7 champ during a recent edition of his “Gronk’d Up” podcast.

“Imagine coming out of the meeting room, I’m like looking to my left down the hallway … looking to my right to make sure no one is out of the meetings yet, and then all of a sudden … Coach Arians just comes out of nowhere with a flying elbow and takes me out and pins me and becomes the 24/7 champ,” Gronkowski said on the podcast.
The only specific requirement needed to secure the 24/7 belt is that a WWE referee has to be present, so maybe all Gronk needs to do is keep his eyes peeled for a striped shirt-wearing individual roaming the Bucs facility.
Then again, given how Arians recently revealed, as speculated, that Brady was behind the Bucs acquiring Gronkowski, perhaps the tight end should be more concerned about his longtime teammate snatching away his WWE belt.
