The University of Pittsburgh had to a hold a virtual commencement ceremony this spring due to the coronavirus pandemic, during which Donald shared the following inspiring message.
“Shoutout to all the students graduating. I know you guys are proud, I know your family’s proud of you guys. I’m proud of you for being a Pitt alum,” Donald said, via Penn Live. “You know I’m cheering for you, hoping nothing but the best.”
In his four seasons as a Pitt Panther, Donald recorded 181 total tackles and 29.5 sacks. He was the 13th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft when selected by the then-St. Louis Rams. The NFL star has demonstrated loyalty and commitment to his school over the years, as evidenced by how he made a “historic” donation to Pitt’s football program in 2019.
