Buccaneers share hype video after Tom Brady signing becomes official
Tom Brady is now officially a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and it did not take long for the team to add to the already-frenetic hype over the addition of the six-time Super Bowl champion.
The Buccaneers took to social media Friday morning to share a hype video about the Brady signing, which features the message “TB x TB.”

Brady got the ball rolling on the fanfare surrounding his arrival in Tampa by sharing a photograph on Instagram of him signing his contract. The 42-year-old, three-time NFL MVP indicated that he’s “excited, humble and hungry” over signing with the Bucs after a two-decade run of excellence with the New England Patriots.

Excited, humble and hungry …if there is one thing I have learned about football, it’s that nobody cares what you did last year or the year before that…you earn the trust and respect of those around through your commitment every single day. I’m starting a new football journey and thankful for the @buccaneers for giving me an opportunity to do what I love to do. I look forward to meeting all my new teammates and coaches and proving to them that they can believe and trust in me…I have always believed that well done is better than well said, so I’m not gonna say much more – I’m just gonna get to work! #Year1 p.s. The Bucs later confirmed Brady’s signing in a statement.
Brady bid farewell to the Patriots earlier in the week, indicating that his “football journey will take place elsewhere.”
The Patriots, despite some conflicting reports regarding the factors behind Brady’s departure, unsurprisingly paid the iconic quarterback proper respect with a well-earned farewell.
The Pats honored Brady throughout the week with gestures that included heartfelt statements from owner Robert Kraft and head coach Bill Belichick, not to mention a tribute billboard outside Gillette Stadium.
With that chapter in his career officially closed, Brady will now embark on a new journey. To echo the legendary sentiment often uttered by Belichick over the years, it’s now “On to Tampa” for Tom Brady.
