Stefon Diggs reacts to Adam Thielen’s social media shout-out
Stefon Diggs essentially forced the Minnesota Vikings’ hand with social media antics that ultimately led the team to trade the enigmatic wide receiver to the Buffalo Bills this week in a blockbuster trade.
That doesn’t necessarily mean that Diggs doesn’t have some good memories from his time with the Vikings, nor does it mean he’s forgotten about the bonds he developed with teammates during his five-season tenure.
Former fellow Vikings wideout Adam Thielen took to social media this week to pay tribute to Diggs amid his exit. In an Instagram post, Thielen hailed Diggs as “one of the best in the game” and noted how much he’ll miss their time together.
Some time later, Diggs responded to Thielen’s shout-out.

“You’re forever my brother… I will miss the meaningless arguments. I will miss noticing when you get your 1 haircut a month,” Diggs wrote. “I will miss watching you flex your arms and claiming to be 215 pounds lol we’re family forever… Until next time brother.”
There has been speculation amid Diggs’ outbursts throughout the 2019 season and into the offseason that there may have been some friction between him and Thielen.
While that was purely a matter of conjecture, it appears that if there ever was some jealousy on Diggs’ behalf when it came to Thielen that having his trade demands finally satisfied has led Diggs to take on a more nostalgic perspective.
