Kevin Durant shows off questionable QB skills in rehab video
Kevin Durant continues to make incremental progress in his recovery from a ruptured right Achilles tendon, but the Brooklyn Nets star’s quarterbacking skills are evidently suspect, to say the least.
Footage shared Tuesday by Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News shows Durant running across the court inside the Nets training facility at a pretty impressing clip, which is obviously an encouraging sign that his rehab is going well.
However, once Durant completes his end-to-end jaunt, he picks up a football and makes an arguably unimpressive toss.

All kidding aside about Durant’s football-throwing prowess — or lack thereof — there has been no indication that either he or the Nets are even remotely considering deviating from the originally stated plan of him missing the entirety of the 2019-20 season.
Still, it’s certainly encouraging to see Durant on the court and looking loose and limber, even if NBA fans will have to wait until next fall to see in back in action.
