Joe Burrow reveals how he’ll spend first NFL check
Joe Burrow will follow the lead of countless other health-conscious professional athletes by spending some funds out of his first NFL check to ensure he maintains a consistently nutritious diet.
Speaking to TMZ Sports in Miami while attending a Super Bowl party over the weekend, the prohibitive No. 1 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft revealed that the first order of business once he gets paid is to hire a personal chef.
“I’m a healthy eater, so whatever he or she can make that tastes good and keeps me shredded,” Burrow said.
Among the roster of high-profile athletes who keep a personal chef on the payroll are LeBron James and Conor McGregor, among many, many others.
There has been quite a bit of chatter over the past few weeks concerning whether or not the Cincinnati Bengals will select Burrow with the top pick in the upcoming draft. What’s more, there has also been speculation that Burrow might prefer it if he did not end up in Cincy.
All that being said, regardless of where Burrow lands in the draft — and it’s certain the former LSU quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner won’t have to sit too long before his name is called, barring a near-catastrophic development — he’ll have plenty of cash on hand to land that coveted personal chef.
