Tom Brady’s alleged purchase of Vegas property fuels Raiders rumors
Among the wildly rampant speculation concerning Tom Brady’s unsettled NFL future was a rumor that the veteran signal-caller could view the soon-to-be Las Vegas Raiders as an option should he not return to the New England Patriots.
During an edition of “Felger and Mazz” show this week on Boston’s 98.5 The Sports Hub, the rumor was floated that Brady has purchased a home in Las Vegas.
The suspicion that Brady could be considering the Raiders should he make a foray into free agency for the first time in his career was initially spawned by how he was spotted chatting with Raiders owner Mark Davis at UFC 246 in Vegas earlier this month.

Clearly, the conjecture that Brady could find the Raiders a viable option is based upon dubious evidence at best. That being said, word that the 42-year-old quarterback may have purchased property in Sin City seemingly substantiates the shaky Brady-Raiders connection.
Any rumor regarding Brady — and there has been no shortage of them — obviously should be taken with a grain of salt, especially in this instance. Brady owns property all over the country, so such a purchase could be completely innocuous and totally unrelated to his career. Further, this isn’t the first time his reported real estate dealings has inspired such chatter.
Whether Brady’s deliberations ultimately lead him to remaining with the Patriots or moving on to another team remains to be seen. In that light, any news item about Brady, innocuous or otherwise, will continue to get scrutinized, for better or worse.
