Kevin Durant ‘honored’ to land on cover of special Forbes issue
At 31 years old, Kevin Durant is no longer eligible to be heralded as one of the 30 individuals under the age of 30 whom Forbes singles out for its annual issue devoted to younger-ish up-and-comers. He still landed on this year’s cover, though.
The Brooklyn Nets superstar is often credited for being as savvy when it comes to his business endeavors as he is a dynamic force on the court, and he was recognized for his acumen in that regard by landing on the “30 Under 30” list back in 2013.
That said, it’s obviously quite the accolade for Durant to receive cover star status for the 2020 edition of the “30 Under 30,” which Forbes announced via social media on Tuesday morning.

Durant later took to Twitter to indicate how “honored” he is over being recognized in such a distinguished manner.

There will be five different covers for the 2020 edition of the Forbes’ “30 Under 30” issue. Joining Durant are rapper 21 Savage, Guild Education founder Rachel Carlson, music act The Chainsmokers, and Australian technology entrepreneur Melanie Perkins.
