Tom Brady is now dropping Yoda quotes on Twitter?
Tom Brady has been wowing the NFL world with his Jedi-like social media skills for years, and his most recent dispatch showcases he’s also plugged in when it comes to the latest goings-on in the pop culture world.
The New England Patriots quarterback took to Twitter on Wednesday evening and delivered a tried-and-true “Star Wars” reference by dropping an iconic Yoda quote from “The Empire Strikes Back”: “Do or do not. There is no try.”

Sure, “Star Wars” references are easy pickings when it comes to sharing beloved pop-culture quotes, but it’s the fact that Brady attributed it to “Adult Yoda” that demonstrates he knows what’s going on in the world outside of football.
An absolute phenomenon erupted on the Internet this week thanks to the appearance of what people are touting as “Baby Yoda” in the new Disney+ series, “The Mandalorian.” Brady clearly is tapping into the craze with his tweet.
Brady, as noted, has long bee heralded as one of top social media provocateurs in the NFL, mostly on Instagram and Facebook early on. In fact, Brady made his debut on Twitter only last April.
That said, it’s abundantly clear that the Patriots signal-caller knows his way around the social-media platform, and he continues to impress with his talents.
