Tom Brady, Antonio Brown pose for pic, QB talks WR’s arrival
Antonio Brown is now officially a member of the New England Patriots, and amid Monday’s announcement a photograph surfaced on social media of the mercurial wideout posing with Tom Brady.
First, the Patriots formally announced Brown’s arrival on Monday in an understated manner typical of the organization.

Perhaps attempting to inject a bit more excitement into the development, Brown and Brady took a pic together, an image captured and subsequently shared on Instagram by Barstool Sports.
Brady opened up about his new teammate in his weekly discussion with Jim Gray during Westwood One’s coverage of “Monday Night Football.”
“You don’t judge anything,” Brady told Gray, via ProFootballTalk. “I’m not judging anything before I have a chance to go out and practice and prepare. You know, Antonio, meeting him today I really enjoyed being around him, he’s a very smart football player, knows how to play the game. He’s been extremely productive.
“The only thing that I know what we can do is to go out there and work at it to meet and to communicate and get on the practice field and go through things. I’m not buying into any hype or potential. I’m into work. He’s into work and our entire offense is into doing what’s in the best interest for the team and I’m really excited to get to practice on Wednesday.”
Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, meanwhile, exhibited his patented Belichickian tendencies when weighing in on Brown’s arrival by saying he’s “glad” the wide receiver is in the fold.
“We’re glad to have him on the team,” Belichick said Monday on WEEI. “We’ll take it day by day and see how it goes.”
So, there’s Brady surfacing on social media to herald Brown joining the team and Belichick going all Belichick on the addition. In other words, it’s business as usual at Patriots HQ.
