Baker Mayfield, Patrick Mahomes top preseason jersey sales
Fanatics has released the top-10 NFL players when it comes to preseason jersey sales, and the top two slots went to two young quarterbacks who made names for themselves during the 2018 season.
Taking the top spot at No. 1 is Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield, with Kansas City Chiefs signal-caller Patrick Mahomes coming in at second.

As Fanatics’ above tweet details, Khalil Mack, Tom Brady and Saquon Barkley round out the top five, while slots six through 10 went to JuJu Smith-Schuster, Odell Beckham Jr., Carson Wentz, Drew Brees and Sam Darnold, in that order.
The notion that six quarterbacks can be found in the top-10 jersey sellers is hardly a surprise, though Mack coming in at No. 3 certainly is interesting.
An arguably interesting omission, however, has to be the absence of Antonio Brown, as it would have been reasonable to expect that Raiders fans would have been snatching up his jersey ahead of his first season with the team, as was the case with Odell Beckham Jr. and his Browns jersey.
Then again, given the tumultuous nature of Brown’s first few months in Oakland, perhaps it’s not all that surprising.
And Brady? After nearly 20 decades in the league, the Patriots legend’s name is found among the top merchandise sellers every year.
Mayfield’s spot atop the list is hardly a shock. The second-year quarterback has whipped up Cleveland into a frenzy, as the Browns are poised to be among the Cinderella stories of the 2019 season after years of embarrassing ineptitude and widespread organizational dysfunction.
Mahomes, meanwhile, is coming off an MVP season and stands to lead the Chiefs back to the postseason, not to mention has K.C. positioned among the top Super Bowl contenders.
