Odell Beckham Jr. shows off one-handed catching skills at Browns practice

Odell Beckham Jr. without question has a flair for the dramatic both on and off the field. Such flashiness requires commitment to the craft, however, as illustrated by how the Cleveland Browns wideout spent some time at practice working on one-handed catches.

The Browns shared footage of Beckham snagging a sweet one-handed grab during Friday’s training camp session.

As mentioned, accomplishing such remarkable feats of skill requires practice, something Beckham showcased with a post-practice session on the JUGS machine. In total, Beckham caught 100 passes, with the final 30 coming one-handed.

Big things of course are expected out of Beckham in his first season in Cleveland. While developing a rapport with quarterback Baker Mayfield remains a work in process, Beckham already realizes the duo could be very dangerous.

“Once we get on the same page,” Beckham said. “I just feel like it’s going to be scary.”
