Baker Mayfield slams Colin Cowherd over Odell Beckham criticism

The long-running feud between Baker Mayfield and Colin Cowherd continues as the Cleveland Browns quarterback recently took aim at the outspoken media member over the recent disparagement of teammate Odell Beckham Jr.
Mayfield and Cowherd have been exchanging barbs going back to when the Browns made the quarterback the top pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. With the FOX Sports host now taking aim at Beckham, Mayfield went after Cowherd again in a recent interview.
“You know, there’s people like that who are really abusing their position,’’ Mayfield told Complex Sports. “Abusing a platform to a point where people are going to listen to it. He’s supposed to bring out facts and he chooses to put out irrational opinions. People can say what they want, they can say I’m not really supposed to comment on this but a liar is a liar and a guy that is really just full of it needs to be put in his place.
“I’ll be the first one to tell you I’m not always right. I know my flaws and I’d love for people to correct me so I get better. He’s a guy who thinks he’s always right. He throws people names under the bus. He can say what he wants about me, but as soon as he starts talking about my teammates, that’s when I have a problem.’’
Beckham, it merits noting, fired back at Cowherd over the latest slights, firing off a series of tweets in reaction “The Herd” host’s barbs. Mayfield also ripped Cowherd on Twitter, again calling him a “clown.”
You’re over double his age and you can’t even realize that it’s much bigger than just the game. Wisdom didn’t come with age for you did it?

The Mayfield-Cowherd feud has become such a huge deal that the Browns signal-caller has even started selling anti-Cowherd shirts on his website.

In other words, Mayfield is all in on continuing the feud, so long as Cowherd keeps targeting him and the Browns.
