A-Rod’s lawyers ‘all over’ photo taken of him on toilet
Alex Rodriguez was creepily photographed sitting on the toilet in his Manhattan apartment, and his attorneys are giving every effort to identify the individual behind the egregious invasion of privacy.
The New York Post’s Page Six claims to have seen the photo in question — which featured A-Rod on the throne with pants down while looking at his phone — but appropriately opted to not publish for the aforementioned privacy reasons.
The gossip page went on to indicate that the photograph was taken from a building across the street from A-Rod’s apartment, and the assumption is it was snapped from the office of a Manhattan hedge fund company.
It’s noted that blinds in the bathroom of Rodriguez’s apartment, which he shares with fiancee Jennifer Lopez, were wide open, though that does not justify the actions of the person who snapped the photo.
All that said, A-Rod’s high-powered legal team is hard at work to I.D. the paparazzi-like individual who took the photo that is said to be making the rounds on Wall Street and media circles.
A source told Page Six, “Alex’s lawyers are all over this. They are working hard to find out who the culprit is. It is a clear breach of privacy. The photo was obviously taken from the building next door, from a floor possibly parallel to Alex’s apartment. One of the hedge funds in the building next door will be getting a big lawsuit.”
The photograph in question evidently found its way on to Twitter as well by Thursday, which obviously means there’s no stopping its further dissemination online at this point.
It goes without saying that Rodriguez, nor anyone for that matter, should ever have to deal with such a wholly inappropriate invasion of privacy, nor have evidence of such spread around the internet.
That said, A-Rod — who seems incapable of getting out of his own way at times — could have avoided the embarrassing situation with ease simply by closing the blinds in his bathroom before sitting down on the toilet.
