Bryce Harper’s choice of shirt for Opening Day ahead of his first game with the Philadelphia Phillies has the City of Brotherly Love worked up into a frenzy.
The shirt inspiring the craze portrays the Phillie Phanatic and Philadelphia Flyers mascot Gritty as Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield, respectively, the iconic characters from the Quentin Tarantino cult classic “Pulp Fiction.”

To say Harper’s arrival has created a huge buzz in Philly as the team embarks upon a season full of hope and promise would be an understatement. Harper himself has been doing a fantastic job ingratiating himself to the Phillies faithful, and the hype is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
Fans undoubtedly will be eager to get their hands on Harper’s shirt once the business that sells it gets their site back up and running. There is no doubt, though, that many Phillies fans already have their Harper-inspired attire already purchased, as the slugger boasts the top-selling jersey in Major League Baseball.
