Antonio Brown intends to address ‘negative speculations’ about him
The Antonio Brown saga took another strange turn Friday as the disgruntled Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver surfaced in an Instagram Live video. In it, Brown explained how he soon intends to clear the air amid all the rumors, conjecture and innuendo.
“For all the negative speculations about my character, I’ll be addressing it soon. I’ll be sure to tap in with you guys, Brown says in the video, as transcribed by Steelers Depot. “But it’s all positive. I’m 31. I’m still excited to play. I’m here with one of my mentors, one of my brothers.”

The mentor Brown refers to in the video is former NFL star wideout Chad Johnson.
“But on a serious note, I’m going to address some stuff at a later date. Deeper detail,” Brown continues. “All positivity, all encouraging…my actions will speak louder than my words. My actions speak louder than anything I could ever say. So stay by the phone.”
Brown adds that the promise of a supposed “exclusive” interview that he and former Steelers great James Harrison indicated would be occurring was not serious.
“The press conference with James Harrison was all a joke,” Brown said. “I was over there chilling with him. All a joke, man.”
It’s been an eventful few days following a tumultuous season for Brown, to say the least. On Thursday, Brown reacted to Steelers team president Art Rooney II saying it is “hard to envision” the wide receiver remaining with the team by cryptically tweeting out a photo of he and Rooney together.

Earlier Friday, reports surfaced that Brown has ceased following the Steelers on Twitter, another ominous sign that a split between he and the team is inevitable.
To that end, it appears the world will have to wait for what happens next and if Brown truly intends to seriously address “all the negative speculations about my character.”
