Watch: Patriots release hype video dismissing all the doubters
The New England Patriots were not their usual dominant selves in 2018, but nevertheless locked up another AFC East title and a postseason bye with an 11-5 campaign.
Speculation and the like abounded this season concerning whether the Patriots’ dynasty was on its last legs as critics, pundits and talking heads eagerly read New England’s last rites.
The Patriots, as they are wont to do, ignored all the outside noise and are currently preparing to host the Los Angeles Chargers at Gillette Stadium for a Sunday showdown in the divisional round.
As part of the ramp-up to the big game, the Patriots’ social media department released a hype video Tuesday, in which the chatter from all the haters is taken head-on.
The video features the likes of Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless playing the role of skeptics regarding the Patriots’ prospects of continuing their dynastic run, along with images of tweets and social media dispatches critical of the Bill Belichick and the organization.

As noted, the Patriots navigated the choppy waters of the 2018 season and emerged again as a legitimate contender to represent the AFC in another Super Bowl. This of course is due in large part to Belichick and his strict adherence to the “Patriot Way,” which requires everyone in the organization to solely focus on the task at hand and nothing else.
Tom Brady, despite an uncharacteristically average season (according to his standards) has blown off talk of the Patriots dynasty’s demise and is pumped for another offseason run that begins Sunday.
The hype video above showcases how the Patriots are ready for the challenge, despite the presence of all the doubters.
