Dak Prescott matching Ezekiel Elliott’s $21K donation to The Salvation Army
Dak Prescott will match the $21,000 donation to The Salvation Army previously made by Dallas Cowboys teammate Ezekiel Elliott, reports The Dallas Morning News.
The flurry of charitable donations all started during the Cowboys’ Thanksgiving Day victory over the Washington Redskins. Following a dazzling rushing touchdown by Prescott early on in the fourth quarter, Elliott helped deposit his teammate into a huge The Salvation Army kettle located beyond the end zone.

The celebration of course was inspired by Elliott pulling off the same move during a 2016 game against the Buccaneers, something that prompted a large increase in donations to The Salvation Army.
The Cowboys also matched Elliott’s original $21,000 donation, bringing the total to $63,000 between the team, Elliott and Prescott.
Prescott originally made the announcement via an Instagram post in which he’s shown getting placed in the big red kettle by Elliott.
