The New York Knicks got off to a sluggish start shooting-wise in Wednesday’s season opener against the Atlanta Hawks at Madison Square Garden. Perhaps how the team made such a quick recovery can be credited in part to a Knicks fan’s clutch half-court shot during a game break.

The Knicks started off the game an abysmal 0-for-9 from the field to start Wednesday’s game. And then came one of those patented on-court routines where a fan can win some big money by draining a shot from long distance.

Well done on the pressure-packed shot, good sir. And best of all? Perhaps the dazzling display of long-range sharpshooting pumped up the Knicks, as the home team rebounded from the cold shooting start to beat the Hawks by a score of 126-107.
