Tim Tebow ‘blessed’ by relationship with Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters
Tim Tebow and 2017 Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters have been in a relationship since earlier this year. Now that the quarterback-turned-New York Mets prospect confirmed their romance over the summer and has had time to reflect, Tebow has come to the realization he has “a lot to be thankful for,” starting with Nel-Peters.
“I’m feeling great,” Tebow said in a recent People interview. “We’re just about five months. She’s just so special; her whole family is. I’m getting to know everything about her and her family and background.”
As Tebow mentions, he and Nel-Peters recently took their relationship to a new level by meeting each other’s families during a joint outing in New York in September. Tebow of course is a deeply religious, family-first type of person, so that kind of step is a monumental statement to how the relationship is progressing.
Tebow and Del-Peters are said to have first met at a Super Bowl party and hit it off.
“My first day with Demi was a big day, because I knew she was special from the start,” Tebow said.
Tebow reportedly gave Nel-Peteres a “pricey” David Yurman necklace as a birthday gift earlier this year as well.
“I try not to overthink things with my head,” Tebow said of the approach to his courtship of Nel-Peters. “With relationships, I’m very heart-driven.”
More than anything, Tebow is taking everything, from his relationship with Nel-Peters to his baseball career, in stride.
“I’m just so blessed,” Tebow said. “I’ve got a lot to be thankful for.”
