Report: LeBron James beefs up security at L.A. home with 10 armed guards
LeBron James is not leaving anything to chance in light of the recent spate of burglaries at celebrity homes in the Los Angeles area. With his wife Savannah and children living at the home, the Lakers superstar has significantly beefed up security, reportedly adding 10 armed security personnel — which is said to even include off-duty police officers — to the staff.
TMZ Sports reports that NBA security is also lending a hand in fortifying James’ L.A. home.
A report this week indicates that James, among other celebrities, including Matt Damon and Viola Davis, were on an alleged hit list of burglars who allegedly were behind the burglaries of the homes of Los Angeles Dodgers slugger Yaisel Puig and Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Robert Woods.
Police have arrested four suspects in the celebrity-home burglary outbreak. Still, police remain on the lookout for accomplices and individuals who may have played a role in the crime spree. With that in mind, it’s no surprise James is doing everything in his power to ensure his family feels safe and secure.
