Report: Robert Woods’ home burglarized during Rams’ win over Vikings
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Robert Woods returned home after Thursday’s 38-31 victory over the Minnesota Vikings at the Coliseum to find it burglarized, according to a report from TMZ Sports.
The perpetrator or perpetrators presumably were well aware of the fact that Woods, who caught five passes for 101 yards and a touchdown in the win, would not be at his San Fernando Valley home on Thursday night.
We’re told when Woods returned to his home after the game, he called police — but since no alarm was set, it’s unclear exactly when the burglary took place. It appears the intruder entered through a back window. Sources say cops and Woods are trying to put together a list of what was taken.
The burglary is part of a troubling trend of Los Angeles athletes having their homes burglarized while away for games. Just earlier this month, Dodgers slugger Yasiel Puig was the victim of a fourth burglary of one of his homes in the past 18 months. It merits noting that the home Puig had broken into also is located in the San Fernando Valley.
