Stefon Diggs, Adam Thielen tweet about missing each other
Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen took to Twitter Tuesday to express their respective eagerness for the start of training camp. Why? Because the Minnesota Vikings’ prolific wide receiver tandem appear to miss each other.
Diggs got the bromance ball rolling by tweeting out how he feels Thielen is getting a bit “distant.”
@athielen19 hey so it’s been a while… and I’m starting to feel your getting a lil distant. I just want my brother back if that’s cool. pic.twitter.com/DrEAtlmpDL

Thielen responded in kind, although the undrafted wideout-turned 2017 Second-Team All-Pro made an accusation about how Diggs never reaches out first.
This week and a half can’t come soon enough, I feel as if I’m the only one that texts first though https://t.co/ztJgSlkIob

New Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins, who has been on quite the roll with social media as of late, also weighed in on Diggs’ never making the first move as it relates to communication.
So…I’m glad I’m not the only one feeling this way. I was starting to think I was high-maintenance https://t.co/1yU9zZJhIc

With these three guys headlining the Vikings’ offense, the sky’s the limit, at least when it comes to building chemistry. The developing bond between Diggs, Thielen and Cousins looks to be rock-solid heading into Vikings’ training camp, which opens on July 24 with veterans expected to report on July 27.
Given how Diggs and Thielen have developed into one of the NFL’s best wide receiver tandems, Cousins certainly will have a great opportunity to shine in his first season in purple. But it may take some time for Cousins to reach a level of closeness enjoyed by Diggs-Thielen dynamic duo, that much is clear.
