‘Bachelorette’ stops by Target Field for Eddie Rosario’s ASG Final Vote bid (vid)

Rebecca Kufrin, the current “Bachelorette” and Minnesota native, made an appearance Tuesday at Target Field to lend her support to Twins left fielder Eddie Rosario’s bid to win the MLB Final Vote for a spot in the 2018 All-Star Game.

Kufrin, who hails from Prior Lake, Minn., also threw out the ceremonial first pitch before the Twins’ showdown with the Kansas City Royals.

“I think it’s good,” Rosario told MLB.com’s Rhett Bollinger about all the support he’s receiving, including the appearance by Kufrin. “I like that all the guys are trying to help me be an All-Star. It’s the little stuff. I know other guys are more in the public but I appreciate that everyone is trying to help go to the All-Star Game.”

The Twins on Tuesday evening also posted a behind-the-scenes look at Kufrin’s appearance at the ballpark, where she greeted Rosario, regaled in a tuxedo for the bit, by telling the outfielder he looked “handsome.”

Kufrin’s first pitch was pretty impressive — it essentially reached home plate without a bounce — especially when compared to the litany of horrific tosses that have occurred (we’re looking at you, 50 Cent).

“She threw a strike,” Rosario, whose chances of winning the Final Vote are a long shot at best, said with a smile.
