Antonio Brown embarking upon nationwide motivational tour

Antonio Brown will embark upon a nationwide motivational tour that will make stops in six states, the Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver has announced on Instagram.

Brown took to social media Thursday night to announce the news, revealing the tour will visit Florida, Texas, Missouri, Illinois, California and finally Pennsylvania to meet and speak with six high school football teams, per Steelers Depot.

“I’ve been doubted my entire career. Told I was too small or not enough. But I used that doubt as motivation to be better,” Brown writes in the Instagram post. “Tomorrow, I’m taking my story on the road and surprising teams in 6 states to chase their dreams. Will it be yours?”

On Friday morning, Brown revealed the exact location of the first stop on the tour: Traz Powell Stadium on the Miami Dade College campus.

The location of Brown’s first appearance is not far from Miami Norland High School, where he attended high school before spending one year at North Carolina Tech Prep.

Brown went on to enjoy a standout collegiate career at Central Michigan before being selected in the sixth round by the Steelers in the 2010 NFL Draft. Despite being a relatively late pick, Brown of course has developed into one of the league’s best wide receivers, being a four-time First-Team All-Pro, a Second-Team All-Pro and six-time Pro Bowler. Brown has also led the NFL in both receiving yards and receptions on two occasions.

Suffice to say, anyone who attends his motivational tour stops will surely learn a thing or two about perseverance, dedication and self-reliance.
