Nick Foles does weather and traffic on Philly morning news show (vid)
Nick Foles paid a visit to FOX 29’s “Good Day Philadelphia” morning news show on Thursday and the Super Bowl MVP even assisted meteorologist Sue Serio with her weather and traffic report.
Foles’ appearance on the program was mainly to promote his new book, “Believe It,” but it appeared Foles enjoyed getting in on the standard morning news show routines.
“What’s the temperature right now, Nick Foles?” Serio asked the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback, via Philly.com.
“It’s 75 degrees,” Foles said, adding, “You know, it’s pretty humid. We’re getting ready for training camp, so you know, gotta hydrate a little bit more.”
Foles also touched on his NFL future, given nothing is certain beyond the 2018 season given Carson Wentz being firmly entrenched as the Eagles’ present and future franchise quarterback.
“I wish I could play my whole career in Philly, I love Philly,” Foles said, via FOX29. “At the same time Carson Wentz is here. I love Carson Wentz. He’s going to have an amazing career here. I want him to have an amazing career here. If I do decide to play elsewhere, and have an opportunity to start, if it is there, I’m not just going to choose it for the money. It has to be the right situation. It has to be a place like Philly.”
