Eagles fan Kobe Bryant spotted ‘hanging out’ at Patriots OTAs (pics)
Kobe Bryant may bleed Midnight Green as a die-hard fan of his hometown Philadelphia Eagles, but that did not stop the NBA icon from dropping by the New England Patriots training facility on Wednesday for the team’s fourth day of OTAs.
Bryant evidently was “just hanging out and dropping some knowledge,” according to one Patriots player, per ESPN’s Mike Reis.
As Patriots players returned to work in the voluntary offseason program on Wednesday, they were greeted by a celebrity guest from a different sport: Kobe Bryant.

Cornerbacks Eric Rowe and Stephon Gilmore were among the Patriots players who snapped pics with the Los Angeles Lakers legend and shared them on Instagram.
Bryant also this week announced the upcoming release on Oct. 13 of his first nonfiction book, “The Mamba Mentality: How I Play,” which was inspired by Bryant’s desire “to share his vast knowledge and understanding of the game to take readers on an unprecedented journey to the core of the legendary ‘Mamba Mentality.'” Perhaps Kobe persuaded some Patriots players to pre-order his first foray into the literary world.
