Kevin Durant says Stephen Curry is ‘best shooter to ever play’
Two games into the Western Conference Finals, the Warriors find themselves in an unusual spot. Yes, being tied is very unusual for these Warriors. This is the first time the Warriors have been tied in a playoff series since the 2016 NBA Finals when they were tied 3-3 with the Cleveland Cavaliers. It’s also new territory since the arrival of Kevin Durant.
The Warriors’ Game 2 loss came largely in part to the shooting struggles of the Splash Brothers. Curry is just 2-of-13 so far in the conference finals against the Houston Rockets and was 1-of-8 in Golden State’s 127-105 loss in Game 2. Kevin Durant, however, wants everyone to know that there is nothing to worry about with Steph and the Warriors will bounce back.
In an interview ESPN.com passed along, Durant called Curry “the best shooter to ever play.” He added: “He’s Steph Curry. What are we even worried about?”
"We're going to break free in this series at some point & so are you."

Durant is right not to worry, as Curry owns four of the top five three-point shooting seasons in NBA history. Curry also has hit a three in 81 straight playoff games, an NBA record.
Luckily for the Warriors, the series now heads back to Oracle Arena, where they are currently undefeated in the playoffs. As for Houston, they have to keep the pedal to the metal against the Warriors. If the Rockets even slack for a quarter, the Warriors can storm back and retake control of the series.
