A huge Houston Rockets fan who traveled all the way from Taiwan to attend the team’s Game 4 showdown with the Minnesota Timberwolves at Target Center received some pretty awesome memorabilia after the 119-100 win: James Harden’s sneakers.
Video posted to Instagram by the NBA documented Harden passing along the kicks.
Meng-Han Yang trekked 7,100 miles to be at the game. He held a sign throughout the Rockets’ 119-100 win indicating his travel odyssey, which read, “Always run as one in Taiwan, but the time is now so I traveled 7138 miles to #LockedIn.”
Photographs posted after the game also showed how Harden autographed the sneakers before tossing them to the 23-year-old student at National Taiwan University in Taipei.

Yang will travel to Houston to watch the Rockets, holding a commanding 3-1 series lead, try to close out the Timberwolves in Game 5 on Wednesday night at Toyota Center.
“This is my first trip to the United States, and this is a good reason to come,” Yang said, via the Houston Chronicle. “It will be exciting.”
Yang obviously picked an amazing game to attend, as Harden led the Rockets to an outstanding 50-point outburst in the third quarter that essentially sealed the win. Suffice to say, Yang got to witness an absolute basketball clinic as the Rockets dismantled the T’Wolves following a halftime break that had Houston clinging to only a one-point lead.
