Report: Tristan Thompson to play more minutes in Game 4 to bring ‘toughness’
The Cleveland Cavaliers will go into Game 4 with their backs against the wall, an unfamiliar position. It’s not often a LeBron James-led team is trailing in a first-round series, as the superstar has never lost a first-round series in his career.
Nonetheless, this Cavaliers team is struggling mightily and need a spark. Head coach Tyronn Lue intends to give Tristan Thompson more minutes off the bench in Game 4 with the hope he will provide some toughness.

Sounds like Tristan Thompson will get minutes tonight in game 4…

The Cavaliers are coming off a demoralizing Game 3 loss, in which the team blew a 17 -point lead in the second half. Thompson played a grand total of two minutes in all three games combined so far. Kevin Love has been ice-cold in this series, grabbing only six rebounds in Game 3, completely disappearing in the second half. Thompson might not be the guy to turn the Cavaliers back into a title contender, but a small spark in offensive rebounding could give the Cavaliers their legs again in this series.
