Justise Winslow fined $15K for intentionally stepping on Joel Embiid’s mask
During the Philadelphia 76ers’ 128-108 Game 3 win over the Miami Heat Thursday, things got quite chippy between the two squads, highlighted by when Heat forward Justise Winslow intentionally stepped on Joel Embiid’s mask, breaking it.
The NBA took action and fined Winslow $15,000 for his conduct.
“Winslow intentionally stepped on Embiid’s mask after it had fallen onto the court with 7:51 remaining in the second quarter of the 76ers’ 128-108 victory on Thursday night.
“The NBA cited Winslow for unsportsmanlike conduct in announcing the penalty Friday.”

Winslow also got chippy with Sixers guard Ben Simmons for a push-off as he drove in the lane.
Winslow had one of the best games of his career, scoring 19 points and pulling down 10 rebounds, adding three assists and two blocks in 27 minutes off the bench. Despite Winslow’s best efforts, the Sixers won comfortably by 20 points to take a 2-1 series lead. The series will resume Saturday afternoon in Miami for Game 4.
