Baltimore restaurant doing its part to lure Dez Bryant to Ravens

A legendary Baltimore eatery recently took it upon itself to get involved in the recruiting process in a bid to lure Dez Bryant to the hometown Ravens.

The iconic Jimmy’s Famous Seafood took to Twitter this week to tantalize Bryant’s taste buds with a few tweets in which a few of the restaurants offerings are highlighted.

The pitch continued into Thursday morning with a photograph of another tasty dish.

Free Crab Carbonara for life? Now that’s an offer.

Interestingly, this is not the first time Jimmy’s Famous Seafood has gotten in on the recruiting game when it comes to trying to convince pro athletes to be part of a local team.

Practically speaking, the Ravens are assumed to be one of the viable options for Bryant, who was released last week by the Dallas Cowboys. Reports have suggested the Ravens have legitimate interest in the wide receiver. Joe Flacco even weighed in on the notion of signing Bryant earlier this week.

Despite being let go by the Cowboys — something head coach Jason Garrett referred to as a “challenging situation,” Bryant could still be a solid contributor on another team’s offense, given the right role. Although if Bryant had his druthers, he may opt to sign with an NFC East team so he can attempt to exact revenge upon the Cowboys twice a season.

But are any of those teams offering up culinary goodies like a certain restaurant in Baltimore? Doubt it.
