Report: Daryl Worley arrested near team facility, gun recovered
Sunday morning, it was reported by Ian Rapoport of NFL Network that newly acquired Eagles cornerback Daryl Worley was arrested near the team facility.
Per the same report, Worley was passed out in a car, which was blocking a highway, then 911 was called in response. Worley was then tased by Philadelphia police when he became “combative” at 6 am this morning. A gun was recovered at the scene.

Worley was acquired by the Philadelphia Eagles this offseason in a trade that sent WR Torrey Smith to Carolina in March. Worley was selected in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers, and started 14 games,while playing in 15 last season. The Eagles recently put out a statement, stating they are “gathering more information.”
