This comes after other fellow freshman Marvin Bagley and Trevon Duval declared for the draft, both of whom hired agents. Duke will also be losing Grayson Allen to graduation.
Trent in his only season in Durham averaged 14.5 points and 4.2 rebounds per game while 40% from three-point range.
The only remaining decision for Duke is Wendell Carter Jr. He is projected to be a top-ten pick in the draft, but has yet to declare.
Despite losing almost all of their key players, Duke already has reloaded with the top recruiting class in the nation. Duke landed Cameron Reddish, RJ Barrett and Zion Williamson — who are the top three prospects in this class. Duke will also bring in Tre Jones, who is the brother of former Blue Devil and current Minnesota Timberwolves guard Tyus Jones.
