Michael Bennett will reportedly turn himself in amid indictment
This week, it was reported that newly acquired Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Michael Bennett was indicted on a felony charge for injury to the elderly, the victim being a 66-year-old paraplegic security guard while at Super Bowl LI. Bennett allegedly shoved his way onto the field in an attempt to watch his brother Martellus play for the New England Patriots.
Michael Bennett plans on turning himself in to Houston police tomorrow for the charge of injuring an elderly woman, per USA Today. Bennett is currently out of the country. A warrant was issued for Bennett’s arrest on Friday.
