Single Lindsey Vonn seeking a date, but ‘never’ with Rob Gronkowski
Sorry Gronk, any potential sports supercouple pairing with Lindsey Vonn isn’t in the cards, so says the Olympics star herself.
Vonn, making an appearance that aired on “Access Hollywood” on Wednesday, was asked about single life. Suggestions were made of possible celebrities whom Vonn, who recently split up with NFL assistant coach Kenan Smith, could date. One such individual brought up was Rob Gronkowski.
While saying the New England Patriots tight end was handsome enough, Vonn made it clear he wasn’t her type.
“I love Gronk, but that is never going to happen,” Vonn said when hosts Natalie Morales and Kit Hoover suggested the party-hearty Gronkowski.
When pressed with a “never say never” proposition, Vonn replied, “I can say never!”
For what it’s worth, Gronkowski is believed to have been dating former NFL cheerleader Camille Kostek for a few years. Although recent reports suggest Gronk is looking to “demote” Kostek from girlfriend status, whatever that means.
Other potential beaus — or at least dates — suggested were for Vonn during the interview were Drake (“good looking”), Jon Hamm (“doable”), Brad Pitt (“everyone’s type”) and “Black Panther” actor Michael B. Jordan (“very cute”).
Despite the hosts’ best efforts, a theoretical “Love Connection” just was not in the cards for Vonn on this day. Although Vonn of course has had no trouble making her own connections on her own, especially when it comes to high-profile relationships. One long-term romance from a few years back in particular comes to mind.
