Nick Foles on Tom Brady’s handshake snub: ‘I haven’t heard from him yet’ (vid)

Super Bowl LII MVP Nick Foles continued making the rounds on the talk show circuit this week with an appearance Thursday night on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” And the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback mentioned something about a situation that became quite the talker in the wake of his team’s upset 41-33 victory over the New England Patriots.

He has yet to hear from Tom Brady.

Much was made in the aftermath of Super Bowl LII over Tom Brady not making the customary handshake rounds following the game, something that is considered somewhat unsportsmanlike. Not surprisingly, Brady was summarily ripped for it.

While later reports surfaced indicating that Brady did chat with at least some members of the Eagles, he did not search out Foles. And apparently, Brady still has not made amends.

“I haven’t heard from him yet,” Foles told Kimmel, via Philly.com. “I know he’s busy. I know he’s got a lot going on.”

Foles made it clear there’s no hard feelings over Brady’s post-game snub, nor does he believe it was intentional.

“I will say this: As soon as the game’s over, you can’t move,” Foles added. “You can’t even express emotions. There’s so many cameras. I mean, you have to have a blocker in front of you. I was about to get Jason Kelce and say, ‘Hey, bro, can you come with me for five minutes?’”

Kimmel later joked that Brady could make things right by sending Foles a pair of Uggs, one of Brady’s many endorsements.

“I do like Uggs,” Foles quipped.

As was the case when Foles paid a visit to The Ellen DeGeneres Show” earlier this week, he was asked by Kimmel about his uncertain NFL future. After all, despite leading the Eagles to the organization’s first Super Bowl title, Carson Wentz is without question the team’s future at the quarterback position.

“We love Philly,” Foles said. “You know, that stuff’s out of my control. My agents, they handle all that. But we love Philly. We love the situation, and we’ll worry about it when that time comes.”

Foles’ entire interview with on Kimmel follows.
