Agent for Tom Brady, Jimmy Garoppolo issues statement on bombshell ESPN report
Don Yee, the agent for both Tom Brady and Jimmy Garoppolo on Friday morning issued a statement regarding a bombshell ESPN report alleging a significant rift within the New England Patriots organization.
The ESPN report suggests a power struggle between Brady, Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft threatens to tear the Patriots dynasty apart. The allegation is that Garoppolo is at the center of said power struggle and resulting rift, specifically concerning how the decision to trade the young quarterback put Belichick at odds with Kraft and Brady, the latter of whom allegedly forced the Patriots to trade Garoppolo to the San Francisco 49ers.
Given that Yee represents two of the primary figures involved, he stands to have a unique take on the situation. Although Yee’s statement makes it abundantly clear he does not want to become personally embroiled in the controversy.
Statement from Tom Brady’s agent, Don Yee, on ESPN report about #Patriots power struggle: "I don't really know what to say — it's tough to have a response since it didn't appear to me to have one on-the-record quote. All I can suggest is don't believe everything you read."

“I don’t really know what to say — it’s tough to have a response since it didn’t appear to me to have one on-the-record quote,” Yee said in a statement issued to NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero. “All I can suggest is don’t believe everything you read.”
Yee seems to be taking a page from the playbook of another individual involved in the alleged rift and power struggle, Belichick.
The Patriots head coach previously railed against allegations that his relationship with Brady has become strained over the quarterback’s personal trainer’s influence by noting the substance of the reporting came from unnamed sources.
