Tom Herman’s wife defends husband over criticism of mock celebration
Texas Longhorns head football coach Tom Herman found himself in the center of a controversy this week due to some conduct during the team’s bowl game. And now Herman’s wife is coming to her husband’s defense.
The Longhorns on Wednesday defeated the Missouri Tigers in the Texas Bowl by a score of 33-16. Herman was spotted on the sideline seemingly mocking Tigers quarterback Drew Lock’s touchdown celebration earlier in the game along with Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger.

Hermann’s antics certainly appeared to be mimicking and mocking Lock’s aforementioned celebration.

Herman was roundly ripped for mocking a college athlete. Although it should be noted that Lock downplayed the incident.
Drew Lock on Tom Herman: "When the head coach is mocking your dance move you must be doing something right. You’re not a nobody. You’re definitely doing something that’s catching other people’s attention."

Herman’s wife has since taken to Twitter to defend her husband amid the controversy.
What’s the problem? Longhorns win, Longhorns get to dance…end of discussion. https://t.co/wcFVcCb2CF

There you have it. Given Lock himself didn’t take much offense, chances are Herman’s antics will be forgotten soon enough.
