Todd Gurley praises fantasy football player who donated some winnings to charity
Todd Gurley reversed course from earlier this week and actually sang the praises of fantasy football after one player donated some of his league winnings to charity.
Gurley obviously was a boon for fantasy players lucky enough to have him on their rosters. One such player, Jeff Fell, announced on Twitter that he donated a portion of said winnings to the Shriners Hospital for Children, a cause near and dear to Gurley’s heart.
@MatthewBerryTMR Only fair to give something back, right @TG3II? pic.twitter.com/0kI2xTgQuP

Gurley learned of Fell’s generosity and gave him a shout-out while noting perhaps there could be some good in fantasy football.
Fantasy is not so bad after all lol that’s major Love. Thank you and Happy Holidays. https://t.co/l2J9s5cWxe

Interestingly, the Los Angeles Rams running back just days earlier took a shot fantasy football after tallying 118 rushing yards, 158 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns in a victory over the Tennessee Titans in Week 16. That kind of output likely helped some players win their leagues with ease.
Fantasy owners you’re welcome now leave us alone. Merry Christmas!

Making the story even better, Gurley’s praise of Fell has inspired other fantasy players to donate some of their winnings as well.
This is a great idea! Thank you @TG3II for helping me to victory so I will happily be donating 25$ to the Shriners Hospitals for Children! Love Shriners and what they do for the kids, you couldn’t have chosen a better hospital to support
