Marshon Lattimore blown away by Twitter shout-out from LeBron James
New Orleans Saints rookie cornerback Marshon Lattimore, an Ohio native, couldn’t believe it when he saw how the one and only LeBron James tweeted congratulations to him over his Pro Bowl nod.
Congrats young @shonrp2!!! Keep going. #StriveForGreatness #OH https://t.co/Cn3LduD7Xr

Lattimore of course responded to James’ congratulatory tweet.
Aw man appreciate that big homie! #IO https://t.co/30yBY6xfwq

Lattimore, who hails from Cleveland, obviously could never have seen a shout-out from the Sports King of Ohio.
“It was crazy. I was in the car with my cousin, driving back from getting a massage, and I just saw the tweet,” Lattimore said, via ESPN. “It said, ‘King James.’ I looked at it like, ‘Oh man’ and told my cousin. It was big. I loved it.
“He’s one of my favorite players ever, any sport. So that was big to me.”
Lattimore has never met James, but the Cleveland Cavaliers superstar, a huge Ohio State Buckeyes fan, attended a few games when Lattimore played in Columbus.
It goes without saying a his first Pro Bowl nod is incredibly gratifying for Lattimore, especially as rookie. Although getting a shout-out from James over it probably is pretty special, too.
