Twitter fascinated by film playing in background of video posted by LeBron James
LeBron James on Tuesday was ejected from a game for the first time in his 15-year career, a span of 1,082 games, during the Cleveland Cavaliers’ victory over the Miami Heat. James has since weighed in on situation with the media, as well as in a few posts on social media, which of course inspired significant chatter.
However, James later posted a video on Uninterrupted, a multimedia platform for athletes in which he has a stake, to speak more at length about his ejection. But instead of fans hanging on James’ every word, it appeared, at least on Twitter, the biggest reactions were to the movie playing in the background as James spoke.
The film? “Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls,” the sequel to the blockbuster smash about an oddball, but brilliant, pet detective starring Jim Carrey.

Twitter, perhaps not surprisingly, had some reactions to James’ movie viewing habits, as compiled by Cleveland.com:
Not sure what LeBron said at all in this because I could not take my eyes off Ace Ventura in the background. Fantastic movie https://t.co/NBMefCbhKy

I don’t know why this LeBron video has Ace Ventura in the background but it’s strangely mesmerizing. pic.twitter.com/eKTVUSnkKp
