Bryce Harper, Kris Bryant rock Golden Knights jerseys at hometown team’s game (pic)
Bryce Harper and Kris Bryant on Tuesday night made an appearance at T-Mobile Arena to cheer on their hometown Vegas Golden Knights in a game against the Dallas Stars. And the Golden Knights posted a pic of the two MLB superstars rocking the same jersey, albeit not one that Chicago Cubs fans have been dreaming of seeing the two wear in the future.

Unfortunately, the hometown Knights dropped the game, losing by a score of 3-0.
Still, anytime these two Las Vegas natives get together a litany of speculation is unleashed about perhaps the two longtime friends joining forces on the Cubs once Harper enters free agency in 2018. Heck, even their wives got in on the action and fueled Harper-to-Chi-Town chatter when the Nationals visited Wrigley Field for a game against the Cubs in August.
That said, the appearance by Harper and Bryant at the Golden Knights game was essentially nothing more than two friends taking in some NHL action in their hometown. Nothing more, nothing less. Although that doesn’t mean it won’t inspire dreams of a superstar partnership involving the pals on the behalf of Cubs fans.
