Everson Griffen reveals name of son born on Thanksgiving (vid)
Minnesota Vikings defensive end Everson Griffen finally has revealed the name of the son born on Thanksgiving, a birth that received nationwide attention after he creatively asked for help in naming him.
After notching his first of two Thanksgiving Day sacks by taking down Matthew Stafford in a 30-23 victory over the Detroit Lions, Griffen lifted up his jersey to showcase the message, “I just had a baby boy. What should we name him?”
So, now that Everson Griffen and his wife welcomed their third child, they want your help: What should his name be? https://t.co/yMPYPus7pU

The birth, which Griffen watched via FaceTime, made it three sons for the Vikings superstar and wife Tiffany.
“I was just doing something special for my baby boy: 7 pounds, 2 ounces,” Griffen said of his shirt-based message, via the Star Tribune. “My wife is healthy. My baby’s healthy. We don’t know his name yet, but it’s not about that. I’m happy to have a new addition. Three boys — I don’t know what my wife is going to do.”
And now, the much ballyhooed-yet-unknown name has been revealed. Griffen on Monday joined “NFL Total Access” on NFL Network to dish on his newborn son’s name.

Nope, it was not Ziggy Mike Zimmer Griffen, as the tweet jokes. The Griffen family instead opted to go with a more traditional, less Vikings-centric name: Sebastian Gregory Griffen. It has a nice ring to it.
